Doctora en Historia por El Colegio de M\u00e9xico, licenciada y maestra en Historia por la UAM Iztapalapa. En 1991 se incorpor\u00f3 a la planta acad\u00e9mica del Departamento de Filosof\u00eda, en la Divisi\u00f3n de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades de la UAM, unidad Iztapalapa, en la licenciatura en Historia y posteriormente en el posgrado en Humanidades.<\/p>

Ha ocupado importantes cargos acad\u00e9micos, como la jefatura del \u00c1rea de Historia de Estado y la Sociedad y de Historia Regional y Comparada; fue encargada del Consejo Editorial del Departamento de Filosof\u00eda; coordinadora del posgrado en Humanidades, as\u00ed como de la licenciatura en Historia; en diversas ocasiones ha sido representante en los \u00f3rganos colegiados; as\u00ed mismo, estuvo al frente de las Comisiones Dictaminadoras de \u00c1rea. Antes de asumir la direcci\u00f3n de la Divisi\u00f3n de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como jefa del Departamento de Filosof\u00eda.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Su destacada trayectoria como investigadora en Historia le ha permitido establecer v\u00ednculos con diversas instituciones de educaci\u00f3n superior de renombre, como El Colegio de M\u00e9xico (COLMEX); las Universidades Jaume I, de Texas en Austin, Columbia, y California en Berkeley. Sin embargo, considera especialmente importantes las colaboraciones con las Universidades de Cartagena, Montevideo, y la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, debido a su conexi\u00f3n con Am\u00e9rica Latina. Esta \u00faltima instituci\u00f3n ha sido fundamental en la formaci\u00f3n de un grupo de investigaci\u00f3n que ha integrado a alumnos de la UAM-I en a\u00f1os recientes.<\/p>

Durante su gesti\u00f3n como directora de la Divisi\u00f3n de CSH, la Dra. P\u00e9rez Toledo se ha planteado una serie de metas alineadas con las Pol\u00edticas Generales de la UAM, las Pol\u00edticas Operacionales de Docencia, el Modelo Acad\u00e9mico de Construcci\u00f3n Colaborativa del Aprendizaje (MACCA), as\u00ed como con las Pol\u00edticas Transversales para Erradicar la Violencia por Razones de G\u00e9nero, y las Pol\u00edticas de Inclusi\u00f3n, Equidad, Accesibilidad y No Discriminaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
