Curs\u00f3 una maestr\u00eda en Estudios Regionales en el Instituto de Investigaciones Dr. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Luis Mora en M\u00e9xico (2009) y la licenciatura en Geograf\u00eda Humana en la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma Metropolitana, Unidad Iztapalapa (2007).<br \/>Es Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores. Obtuvo el Premio a la Mejor Tesis de Doctorado. Concurso Internacional de Tesis de Investigaci\u00f3n sobre Centros Hist\u00f3ricos.
